The main aim of the article is to show the inspiring role of Professor Romuald Kolman in the development of scientific and application works focused on the issues of product evaluation, in particular in the thematic area taking into account their life cycle. Research design / research methodology / concept: The above-mentioned considerations have their source in the noticed in the environment, not only in relation to technical objects, qualitative changes, which should be analyzed and assessed throughout the product life cycle.
- Lean Management and the quality of university management - opportunities and threats
The aim of the article is to present the premises and recommendations for implementing LM in a university - to increase the efficiency and quality of management. Against the background of the literature review, the author proposes LM solutions (tools), the use of which in various functional areas of the university may bring about beneficial changes in the form of streamlining activities, saving time, as well as rationalization and greater efficiency of the processes carried out. Research design / research method / concept: The aim of the research was carried out on the basis of a review of the latest world literature. The article is also a case study with a proposal for the implementation of LM in a selected university.
- Assessment of the awareness of the impact of employees in the automotive industry on shaping the quality of the product
The aim of the article is to analyze the requirements for awareness of the impact of employees on the quality of an automotive product in accordance with the requirements of the IATF16949: 2016 standard, as well as the presentation and verification of a tool for checking the level of this awareness. Research design / research methodology / concept: The tool developed by the author of the article for examining the level of awareness of employees' influence on shaping product quality was verified in a questionnaire survey. The pilot study covered employees who stayed in the enterprise during the study period and voluntarily expressed their willingness to participate in the study.

Corruption is an important topic in public life, which the media are paying more and more attention to. In a society that recognizes that corruption is simply part of the reality in which people live, there is a born lack of faith in effective instruments and methods to combat it. The following article aims to show that the functioning of certain structures and mechanisms makes the fight against corruption possible. The drive in this fight is primarily a properly functioning legal system, as well as internal regulations supporting the manner of dealing with corruption within the organization.
