• Human errors and just culture
    The purpose of this article is to present the general essence of just culture in the light of another common problem, which is making mistakes, reacting to them, including learning from mistakes. The work uses a method of critical analysis of the literature on the subject, a method of synthesis and logical inference. In the first part of the article, the author defined an error and presented selected types of error classification. In the second part she referred to the phenomenon of just culture, giving its selected definitions and pointing to the relationship with the phenomenon of errors and error reporting. The article presents the just culture model as well as the essence of J. Reason's "Swiss cheese model".

    Sharing economics is a new trend, lifestyle, and a new business and economic model. Sharing economy - thanks to the use of innovative technologies - creates prospects for future development. It is an opportunity and determinant that will lead to a change in the quality of business models and the functioning of the modern market. Internet platforms, connecting people, enable them to provide services, use resources, skills, time, capital without transferring property rights. Sharing Economy is known as the sharing economy or the economy of cooperation and consists in buying the benefits of a given product without having to own it. The author presents the essence, conditions and significance of the sharing economy in contemporary economics.
  • Regional quality competitions based on models of organizational excellence - a case study of the Pomeranian region
    Competitions based on organizational excellence models have significant development potential. Organizations participating in these initiatives have the chance not only to obtain marketing benefits, but also comprehensive knowledge about their management systems. In addition, due to the structure of models of excellence, the organization can plan improvement actions in detail in its main processes. The aim of the authors is to identify the characteristic phenomena accompanying competitions at the regional level based on organizational excellence models. Based on the in-depth interview and source materials of the organizers of the Pomeranian Award competition, a diagnosis of the current state of this undertaking was presented and the most important problems associated with it were identified. The presented results and conclusions can be helpful in improving such initiatives, developing the framework of a new comprehensive system of such competitions in Poland and increasing their rank in promoting a pro-quality approach.
  • Measurement of service quality in a customer-oriented organization - application of the SERVQUAL method
    The purpose of the article is to present the importance of measuring the quality of services in an organization focused on building proper customer relationships. The article discusses the contemporary perception of customer orientation and describes the general assumptions of the SERVQUAL method. A constructed questionnaire and test results according to the SERVQUAL method were presented for the selected service organization of the medical industry.
