  • Collaboration of robots from different manufacturers in the context of Industry 4.0
    The dynamic development of automation of technological processes implies an increase in the application of robotic stations and an increase in the spectrum of their applications. Industrial processes require interaction between robot controllers and peripheral devices or management elements, such as HMI panels or PLC controllers, up to ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. This makes it necessary to develop communication systems. In the article for a sample robotic station, an application was written that allows communication between the ABB robot and the Kawasaki robot. The proposed solution was tested on a real stand. The test results confirmed the correctness of the proposed solution.

    The aim of the study was to assess seroprevalence of anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies among healthcare workers (HCW) before introduction of vaccination, in selected areas in Poland as well as to identify potential risk factors and estimate the cumulative incidence of COVID-19 infections in this population.
  • The frequency of positive results of serological tests against SARS-CoV-2 in medical personnel of the Upper Silesian Agglomeration
    Silesia is one of the regions of Poland most affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. The high number of infections among residents increases the already high risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection among medical workers who, due to their work, are exposed to SARS-CoV-2 carriers more often than people from the general population. The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 infection among health care workers from the Upper Silesian Agglomeration on the basis of the seroepidemiological study results.
  • Resorcinol - a method of determination in the air at workplaces
    Resorcinol (1,3-dihydroxybenzene) is a white solid used in the rubber, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, paint and varnish industries, etc. It is a harmful, irritating, methaemoglobin-forming and haemolytic substance. May cause kidney and liver damage. The aim of the study was to develop a method for determining resorcinol in air at workplaces, which would enable its concentration to be determined in the range of 0.1–2 maximum permissible concentration values.

    The examination of posturography enables the assessment of the functioning of the equilibrium system as a whole and the quantitative, apparatus-based verification of the clinical trial of Romberg.
